WEEKLY WISHLIST #28

WEEKLY WISHLIST #28

This week’s wishlist is full of bright, fun colours, perfect for any upcoming summer activities you may have planned!

If you’re looking for effortless, casual daywear you can’t go wrong with a good pair of shorts like this emerald green pair by Ganni which caught my eye. I love the unique, scalloped-edge of the shorts and that Ganni also has a matching coloured shirt, so you could style these pieces as a cute set or even layered over a pink Jacquemus bralette to mix up the palette a bit.

I was so excited to add Balanciaga’s ‘Cagole’ bag to my collection this week, in the most gorgeous lilac shade. As you may know from previous blog posts, I’m a huge fan of the brand and its amazing assortment of colourful accessories, but if you’re not quite as into colour as I am the white Cagole is also really fresh and would be super versatile for summer stylings.

This season the ‘Terry’ fabric has been a hot trend, with the likes of Bottega Veneta incorporating it into their pouches and slides. Zimmerman has also integrated the fabric into a few of their new pieces and I particularly love this green bandeau bikini – the fabric texture just adds a little extra something to a poolside look, especially when paired with these white Vince sandals and neon pink Versace sunnies.

ITALY SERIES | PACKING ESSENTIALS

ITALY SERIES | PACKING ESSENTIALS

Ciao from Ravello! Alex & I are staying here with Revolve this week for a few fun-filled days. I’m sure most of you know how special Italy is to us, we have been lucky to have spent many a summer here as it’s become a bit of a tradition for us to celebrate my birthday in Positano so we will be switching off for a bit of a vacation after our work commitments in Ravello. It will be so nice to unwind after a hectic couple of months and prepare ourselves for next season which is already set to be very busy!

I thought I would put together a new packing list as you guys seemed to love the one I put together for Ibiza and Italy has a completely different, super relaxed vibe to it. I feel as though I can experiment with prints and patterns more than I usually do here, as Italy is bustling with life and great energy which I like to try to replicate within my looks. I often play around with yellow, blue and pink colour combinations as some of our favourite Italian locations have these tones woven into their scenery and stunning ceramic tiles, which makes for a great photo!

This Cecile Bahnsen dress is such a perfect buttery yellow colour and I can’t get enough of the voluminous cut that Bahnsen is so recognized for. It’s ideal for exploring the local towns teamed with comfy Gucci flip flops and statement white Versace sunnies, but it works just as well for hot summer’s evenings dressed up with strappy sandals.

I mentioned how much I love Christopher Esber previously and I recently had a little shopping spree as the brand’s new designs are particularly good, including their swim range. This lime bikini top and bottom set is modern and fresh for beach day looks – though be careful of the tan lines. 😉

When it comes to accessorising, I tend to go for fun jewellery for pool and beach days in order to protect my more precious pieces from chlorine or sand. Shell and pearl inspired jewellery like this necklace from Timeless Pearly or these Missoma earrings are great options to take your vacation style to the next level.

FRIDAY FAVOURITES XV

FRIDAY FAVOURITES XV

Happy Friday Guys! Sharing my hot picks from this week, centred around an old favourite colour combo of mine – turquoise and pink.

I recently added this gorgeous Bottega Veneta pouch bag to my collection. It’s super cool as it has an embossed abstract print and is made from a terry fabric which gives it a more casual vibe than some of Bottega’s other more classic pouches – perfect for summer holidays. If you’ve been eagle-eyed you would have seen I’ve been loving it for beach and boat day looks lately!

Colour blocking this new hot pink Bottega bag with turquoise will give off a really fresh, modern vibe especially when styled with this Dodo Bar Or turquoise leather skirt. The asymmetric drape adds a new layer of interest to the outfit (which could be styled with a crop top, tied shirt or this pink bodysuit), it’s a versatile piece that can be worn casually with strappy sandals or if you fancy getting dressed up. For more formal evening looks I’m always looking to add a fun twist and I don’t think it gets much better than these Bottega Veneta turquoise feather sandals. I have them in the lime shade and they are just so fun to wear! Perhaps I need to add the turquoise to my collection as well. 😉

I’m loving fun jewellery at the moment and if you’re looking for some quirky accessories I’d highly recommend you check out these cute enamel rings from Hot Lips by Solange. If you prefer something a little more classic then why not try some statement cat-eye sunglasses like this pair from Balenciaga. Adding a few statement accessories can really transform your look and is usually worth the investment as accessories can be worn time and time again, styled with many different outfits.

Leonie XX

Zwei Monate mit Cleo: Kleines Jessie-Update aus der Elternzeit

Huhu, ich bin Charlotte! Was ich hier genau mache?

WEEKLY WISHLIST #27

WEEKLY WISHLIST #27

I hope you guys had a lovely sunny weekend, wherever you are in the world! I’ve curated another selection of hot picks for you for this week’s wishlist post. Let me know which ones you love the most!

Amina Muaddi has taken the fashion industry by storm. Her eponymous label has grown from strength to strength over the past year with a variety of accessories, having most recently unveiled an exciting collaboration with Wolford, a brand renowned for its lingerie and hosiery. I spotted these crystal nude fishnet tights from their campaign imagery and I am so glad to see that there are some pairs still available. I love how delicate the tights are with the subtle crystal embellishments woven into the material, offering a touch of glamour. How fantastic would these be for party seasons?! Of course, the tights would be incredible styled with Amina Muaddi shoes but I would also really love these with Bottega’s chocolate brown strappy sandals.

I’ve kept the colour palette neutral when styling a look around these statement tights, as you wouldn’t want to go too over the top. A tan leather skirt by Zeynep Arcay and a tie-detailed top from Christopher Esber would complete the look nicely, as these pieces are both stylish and sophisticated but not overwhelming. Christopher Esber has some really gorgeous designs for the summer; I own a few pieces from the brand as they’re such wearable, versatile styles whether you’re staying in the city or off to a more relaxing summery destination.

Hereu have also released some really cool items this season like this gorgeous oyster coloured top handle bag – I love the relaxed shape and plaited handle detailing. It’s a great option if you love the look of a pouch-style bag but can’t quite sacrifice the practicality of a good strap! The cornflower blue shade is equally as beautiful.

NEW IN MY WARDROBE | VOL. V

It’s been a little while since I last shared a new arrivals post with you guys and I felt like an update was well overdue! Here is a roundup of some of the new pieces in my wardrobe – you’ll be seeing a lot more of them over the summer months!

I recently had a small shopping spree when the new Jacquemus collection launched… and I have no regrets ;). I’m so glad I added this turquoise crop top and shorts set to my closet, along with the new purple Chiquito Noeud bag as I love the handle detail. These pieces have already proven themselves to be super useful given as Alex & are travelling for so many projects at the moment – which is really exciting but I often just need a quick look to throw on and these are perfect, especially when paired with The Frankie Shop lilac shirt. I’ve actually been wearing a few different shades of this shirt for beach and boat days lately, it’s the perfect throw-on layer. They sold out really quickly at first but the great news is that they now have more sizes available online so get in there quickly if you want to order any!

Speaking of boat days, you might have spotted on IG that I took my new neon green Amina Muaddi flatform sandals on board and I’m pleased to report that they are super comfy (though be careful of interesting tan lines ;)). I wore them with hot pink but I think they’d also look really cool with this neon green bikini top and bottoms by Isa Boulder, they have some amazing swimwear worth checking out if you’re looking for a minimalistic design and unique colour options!
