I’ve added some amazing new pieces to my wardrobe over the past month that I wanted to share, starting with my most recent purchase: this gorgeous new pink Chanel bag that I spotted it Heathrow airport as we were flying out to Brazil. The pink is the most gorgeous hue and I also love that it’s a good size which makes it perfect for travelling!

These Saint Laurent crystal embellished boots have been on my wishlist for a while and I decided to finally give them a home – how could I not with this sparkle?! I can’t wait to team them up with a leather skirt and statement black GIA X RHW sunnies.

It’s that time of the week again – Friday faves! I’ve curated a selection of some of the best pieces this week from a range of retailers and brands for you to discover.
After a busy time in Brazil, it has been so lovely to see the new arrivals online this week and I thought I would share some of my highlights to add to your wardrobe. I wore a very similar look when I was in Amsterdam and it was perfect for city exploring. Hopefully, this will inspire some summery city looks for you too!

As many of us are planning our summer getaways, I thought I would focus this week’s wishlist items around chic travel style. I know that most people mainly consider their beach and evening looks but I always like to make sure I have a comfortable outfit option for travel days – particularly when flying with all the travel chaos and delays at the moment.
The trick is to layer as airports can be hot but the aircon on the plane is generally pretty cold, a blazer like this white Wardrobe. NYC one will keep things chic and is easy to throw on or quickly remove. Comfortable footwear is also key, bring on the sneakers! I’ve got my eye on this cute neutral New Balance pair. Last but not least, take a versatile bag that’s large enough for all your essentials. I love a basket bag and find it’s best to keep it as hand luggage as they tend to be too fragile to pack in your suitcase but are ideal for sunny beach days or exploring the local shops.

Ich liebe Phoebe Philo, Stella McCartney und Isabel Marant, kann aus anatomischen Gründen nicht auf hohen Schuhen laufen, habe einen Céline-Taschentick, tanze und höre leidenschaftlich gern Hip Hop, kann mir selten Ironie verkneifen, leider immer noch kein Französisch sprechen, obwohl ich Paris für die schönste Modestadt der Welt halte, gucke am liebsten Jimmy Fallon, Jan Böhmermann, Game of Thrones oder entspanne beim Serienmarathon auf Netflix, bin ein kleiner Workaholic mit Multitaskingtalent, professionelle Instagram-Durchscrollerin, in jeder Lebenslage tollpatschig, habe ein Faible für skandinavisches Interior und einen Kissen-Tick, bin groß im Wellness machen und wäre daher noch lieber professionelle Hoteltesterin. Mode ist meine grosse Liebe, aber meine Kohle investiere ich eher in Reisen und Essen – und neuerdings fast ausschliesslich in mein Kind.
Als alter Bloghase – 2007 habe ich LesMads mitbegründet – ging im Oktober 2012 mein persönlicher Traum in Erfüllung: Ich habe mich mit “Journelles” selbstständig gemacht. Das Blogazine ist mein digitales Zuhause, News-Plattform, Modetagebuch und tägliche Anlaufstelle für spannenden Content rund um die Themengebiete Interior, Reisen, Beauty und sowohl High Fashion als auch Contemporary Labels und Highstreetmode.
Nebenbei habe ich die Modesendung It’s Fashion auf EinsPlus von der ARD moderiert, berate Firmen im Social-Media-Bereich, halte Vorträge und reise um die Welt, um euch täglich den schönsten Content zu präsentieren. Im Juni 2015 habe ich mein eigenes Modelabel JOUUR. gegründet.
2016 ist mein Sohn Levi auf die Welt gekommen. Baby-Themen werden seither auf Mini Journelles behandelt und das nun auch wieder intensiver, da unser zweites Kind unterwegs ist.
Journelles ist inzwischen gewachsen: Wir sind ein sechsköpfiges Redaktionsteam im Berliner Prenzlauer Berg und haben im Sommer 2018 unseren ersten temporären Concept-Store, den Journelles Marché, eröffnet.
Mein Credo: Mode muss Spaß machen, auf Augenhöhe funktionieren und sollte sich nicht so ernst nehmen.

We are preparing to leave for Paris Couture next week, our schedule is rather busy over the next couple of weeks but I wanted to share some pieces that I’m loving. I recently added this stunning Oséree bikini and pareo to my Summer wardrobe and the colours are so fun! It really got me thinking about these warm sunset tones.
