I’ve been trying to be more selective with the pieces I’m adding to my wardrobe these days by only selecting items that I really love and know I will get a lot of wear out of. For example, a great basic set like these Jacquemus shorts and crop top which work as the perfect outfit foundation. Just throw a blazer on over the top, some trainers and a statement accessory like my Saint Laurent ‘Icare’ bag and you are good to go!

I also love the versatility of staple pieces as it’s so much easier to be able to dress your look up or down in keeping with the occasion. For the Jacquemus set, I’d add these crystal embellished Bottega Veneta heels that I’ve had my eye on for a while – the square shape toe feels so modern and fresh.

Last but not least, I have to mention my newest Chanel bag – as you can see from Insta, I’m a little obsessed with it! Even though it’s colourful and patterned it actually works well with most outfits, it’s been my go-to lately and feels even more special as it was a thoughtful anniversary gift from Alex. <3

I’ve gone for a colourful lime, pink and yellow palette this week as it brings me so much joy and these colours work really well both separately or combined. I love a relaxed-fit pair of trousers and these dreamy green silk pair from The Row are no exception! They are super versatile as you could wear them with silver sequin Bottega Veneta heels for dinner or dress them down with a yellow Norma Kamali swimsuit during the day. Speaking of swimsuits, cut-outs are a big trend this season and I had to share this amazing vibrant pink one from Louisa Ballou, it would be so fun with these metallic Isabel Marant earrings for a bit of poolside glamour <3.

I thought I’d share a fun tonal look with you for this week’s Friday faves. I’m really loving Saint Laurent at the moment and recently featured their new ‘it’ bag in one of my wishlist posts so you can really tell that I’ve been lusting after it! I finally decided to let loose and treat myself so that I could take it with me on my Cannes adventure and I have zero regrets so far.

For this week’s styling inspo, I’d style my new bag with an off-duty look: comfy Valentino studded sandals, Nensi Dojaka leggings, an easy Chloe ribbed bralette and oversized Totême blazer. I’d finish things off with chunky jewellery like this Federica Tosi chain necklace and some dramatic Saint Laurent sunnies to really elevate the outfit.
